Rust Mask.
This is a mask made from found rusted pieces of metal. The pieces were placed together and unaltered or adapted. It reminds of various pieces of 'tribal art' that are found across the world and also of some of the shadow puppets seen in the video by Kara Walker.
I had intended to use this as part of my animation, animating the mouth, jaw and eyes using the After Effects puppet tool, but several attempts produced unsatisfactory results and integrating the footage into to my main animation mae it look clumsy.
